Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four children, was born on 8 August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. At a young age, her dental surgeon parents and her teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theatre and drama. It was this love that overshadowed her initial wish to become a primatologist. At the age of a young lady, her rise to stardom was quick and accompanied by early successes.
